Arts & Humanities Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database indexing 1.663 arts and humanities journals. It provides access to current information and retrospective data from 1975 to the present and the subject areas covered are: archaeology, architecture, art, asian studies, classics, dance, folklore, history, linguistics, literary reviews, literature, music, philosophy, poetry, radio, television & film, religion, theater. (Alternative access through NDC).

ArXiV is created and maintained by the Cornell University and it is the first open access electronic archive with research articles. It started in August 1991 and provides access to the full text.

It is one of the world's most voluminous search engines especially for academic web resources and is operated by Bielefeld University Library. It hosts metadata of all kinds from more than 5.000 academically relevant resources - journals, institutional repositories, digital collections etc and provides more than 100 million documents. The full texts of about 60% of the indexed documents can be accessed without restriction.

It includes more than 7.000 open access scientific journals of multiple disciplines. It is possible to search articles and in all cases directly access the full text.

Medline is a bibliographic database produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and is available open access through Pubmed. It contains millions of citations from more than 5.600 biomedical and life science journals since 1946. Search is possible through the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus and alert services are available. Besides abstracts, links to the full text are provided through PubMed Central, publishers’ sites and the University of Crete subscriptions system (SFX@UOC ) after personal registration.

Plantfacts is a searchable database about horticulture and crops. It includes several digital collections developed at Ohio State University, with high quality images featuring Ornamental plants, Turf, Plant Diseases, and Insects, glossary with illustrated definitions of horticultural terms and gardening how-to videos. It also hosts a search engine strictly for plants and related studies.

Throug Proquest platform, access is provided to ProQuest Dissertations & Theses A&I‎ database and SciTech Premium Collection‎ database  with the science and technology publications.

PubChem includes substance information, compound structures and bioactivity data in three primary databases: PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound and PubChem BioAssay respectively.

ScienceDirect AI is an Artificial Intelligence system developed to provide reliable information from the scientific literature. The reliability of SD AI is based on the extensive database from which it draws information, as well as on its ability to minimize the likelihood of inaccurate information (hallucinations) by combining multiple Large Language Models. With SD AI, the academic and research community will be able to explore, compare, and highlight information from the full texts of 23 million peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters, with content being regularly enriched and updated. Zenodo is an open access repository that provides access to research publications and data of various kinds (books, articles, dissertations, reports, images, videos etc), available for researcher that wish to publish their work. It was created in 2013 on behalf of the European Commission, by CERN and OPENaire european program, in order to serve open science.

Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH) is a comprehensive, abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics in the areas of natural sciences, computer science, economics and engineering. It also covers history and philosophy of mathematics and university education. It is produced by FIZ Karlsruhe and edited by the European Mathematical Society, FIZ Karlsruhe, and the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The zbMATH database indexes more than 3.000 journals and serials and 170.000 books, conference proceedings etc. The coverage starts in the 18th century and is complete from 1868 to the present.
