Brill’s  Lexicon of Greek Grammarians of Antiquity  (LGGA) serves as the first point of reference for information on the ancient grammarians for scholars of Greek and Latin antiquity, in particular for research into the history of philology, grammar and ancient scholarship.

Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts (LISTA) indexes more than 560 core journals, nearly 50 priority journals, and nearly 125 selective journals; plus books, research reports and proceedings. Subject coverage includes librarianship, classification, cataloging, bibliometrics, online information retrieval, information management and more. Coverage in the database extends back as far as the mid-1960s.

Medline is a bibliographic database produced by the U.S. National Library of Medicine and is available open access through Pubmed. It contains millions of citations from more than 5.600 biomedical and life science journals since 1946. Search is possible through the Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) thesaurus and alert services are available. Besides abstracts, links to the full text are provided through PubMed Central, publishers’ sites and the University of Crete subscriptions system (SFX@UOC ) after personal registration.

Brill´s New Pauly  is the English edition of the authoritative  Der Neue Pauly , published by Verlag J.B. Metzler since 1996. The encyclopaedic coverage and high academic standard of the work, the interdisciplinary and contemporary approach and clear and accessible presentation have made  the New Pauly  the unrivalled modern reference work for the ancient world. The section on Antiquity of  Brill´s New Pauly  are devoted to Greco-Roman antiquity and cover more than two thousand years of history, ranging from the second millennium BC to early medieval Europe. Special emphasis is given to the interaction between Greco-Roman culture on the one hand, and Semitic, Celtic, Germanic, and Slavonic culture, and ancient Judaism, Christianity, and Islam on the other hand. The Philosopher’s Index is a current and comprehensive bibliographic database covering scholarly research in all major fields of philosophy and related fields. It covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, epistemology, logic, and metaphysics as well as material on the philosophy of disciplines, such as law, religion, science, history, and education It contains research published since 1940 including over 680 journals from more than 50 countries with content representing a variety of languages.

Plantfacts is a searchable database about horticulture and crops. It includes several digital collections developed at Ohio State University, with high quality images featuring Ornamental plants, Turf, Plant Diseases, and Insects, glossary with illustrated definitions of horticultural terms and gardening how-to videos. It also hosts a search engine strictly for plants and related studies.

Portico is a service which offers a permanent archive of electronic scholarly journals, thereby providing protection against the potential loss of access (e.g. cessation of a publisher’s operations, discontinuation of a title by a publisher, termination of license agreement etc.) to e-content of HEAL-Link Collection.

Throug Proquest platform, access is provided to ProQuest Dissertations & Theses A&I‎ database and SciTech Premium Collection‎ database  with the science and technology publications.

The PsycINFO , database, American Psychological Association’s (APA) renowned resource for abstracts of scholarly journal articles, book chapters, books, and dissertations in behavioral science and mental health. It contains over 3 million records and summaries dating as far back as the 1600s with one of the highest DOI matching rates in the publishing industry. Journal coverage, which spans from the 1800s to the present, includes international material selected from around 2,500 periodicals in dozens of languages.

PubChem includes substance information, compound structures and bioactivity data in three primary databases: PubChem Substance, PubChem Compound and PubChem BioAssay respectively. 

The Science Citation Index Expanded is a multidisciplinary database, with searchable author abstracts from more than 3.772 major journals and includes all cited references captured. It provides access to current information and retrospective data from 1970 to the present and the subject areas covered are: agriculture, astronomy, biochemistry, biology, biotechnology, chemistry, computer science, materials science, mathematics, medicine, pharmacology, physics, plant sciences, zoology. The Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum systematically collects newly published Greek inscriptions as well as publications on previously known documents. It presents complete Greek texts of all new inscriptions with a critical apparatus; it summarizes new readings, interpretations, and studies of known inscriptions, and occasionally presents the Greek text of these documents.
The online edition includes all SEG volumes, and will incorporate all future volumes in the series. Supplementum Epigraphicum Graecum Online is automatically updated upon publication of the annual volume.

It contains virtually all ancient Greek texts surviving from the period between Homer (8th century B.C.) and A.D. 600, and a large number of texts deriving from the period between A.D. 600 and 1453. Its goal is to create a comprehensive digital library of Greek literature from antiquity to the present era.

The UpToDate database, supported by the Dutch information services provider Wolters Kluwer, constitutes the most authoritative English-language electronic source of evidence-based clinical information and a comprehensive reference work grounded in clinical practice.
UpToDate’s primary objective is to enhance the scientific knowledge of healthcare professionals and to support them in making sound clinical decisions, with the ultimate goal of improving the quality of care provided to patients.

The scientific team of the platform, composed of a wide range of recognized and experienced physicians, continuously monitors the current medical literature and, through a rigorous selection process, identifies, processes, and synthesizes evidence-based research findings. In this way, it provides reliable answers to questions concerning patient diagnosis and treatment. When additional information is required, UpToDate offers direct links to primary literature, covering more than 25 clinical specialties, while drug-related information is integrated via Lexidrug.

According to the provider, approximately 40–50% of the reviews are updated every four months. Clinical recommendations based on evidence are issued, in accordance with the GRADE system. Zenodo is an open access repository that provides access to research publications and data of various kinds (books, articles, dissertations, reports, images, videos etc), available for researcher that wish to publish their work. It was created in 2013 on behalf of the European Commission, by CERN and OPENaire european program, in order to serve open science.

Zentralblatt MATH (zbMATH) is a comprehensive, abstracting and reviewing service in pure and applied mathematics in the areas of natural sciences, computer science, economics and engineering. It also covers history and philosophy of mathematics and university education. It is produced by FIZ Karlsruhe and edited by the European Mathematical Society, FIZ Karlsruhe, and the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities. The zbMATH database indexes more than 3.000 journals and serials and 170.000 books, conference proceedings etc. The coverage starts in the 18th century and is complete from 1868 to the present.
