During July and  August the Opening Hours for the Central Library will be as follows:

[+] Library Seminars (Heraklion)

The Library and Information Center of the University of Crete (Heraklion) organizes training seminars upon demand throughout the academic year, as follows:

1. " Use of the Library and its electronic services". Duration:45'

Introductory seminar for newcomers. The registration is completed with filling in the  "Library registration form".

2. Bibliography Seminar for undergraduate and postgraduate students for the academic departments of the Schools of Science and Technology and Medicine. Duration: 1,5 hour

Specialized seminar by discipline about
- the Library services,
- the methodology of effective bibliography searching,
- the potential of the available scientific resources (full text access, alert services etc)
- plagiarism prevention and bibliography management.

The seminars take place in the specially designed rooms of our Library building.
