from 09:00 to 12:00 (estimated maintenance time)

Monday 10th to Frinday 14th August the Library -in Rethymno and Herakleio- will be CLOSED.

It will be open again on Monday 17th August following its special function conditions.

The University of Crete has secured trial access for the EMBASE database. Embase provides extensive coverage of biomedical literature, including information not available in MEDLINE.

Trial access is provided until 21 April 2024

The University of Crete Library has secured a trial access to ProQuest's Academic Complete database from 26 February to 26 April 2024.

This is a collection of electronic books covering many scientific fields with more than 234,000 titles from a variety of publishers (more than 170 of which are university presses).

Many (around 33,900) titles do not have digital rights management (DRM) attached to them. While the vast majority of the ebooks are in English, Academic Complete does include access to approximately 19,300 non-English titles in more than 40 different languages.

In a simple and pleasant interface, users can search for books on the following topics (alphabetically):
