Art Index Retrospective: 1929 -1984 provides users access to over half a century of art literature covering fine, decorative, and commercial art. Content includes high-quality indexing of nearly 600 publications, many of which are peer-reviewed, and citations of over 25,000 book reviews.

Arts & Humanities Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database indexing 1.663 arts and humanities journals. It provides access to current information and retrospective data from 1975 to the present and the subject areas covered are: archaeology, architecture, art, asian studies, classics, dance, folklore, history, linguistics, literary reviews, literature, music, philosophy, poetry, radio, television & film, religion, theater. (Alternative access through NDC).

ArXiV is created and maintained by the Cornell University and it is the first open access electronic archive with research articles. It started in August 1991 and provides access to the full text.

ASFA (Aquatic Sciences and Fisheries Abstracts) database includes Oceanic Abstracts  and provides extensive coverage of research on aquatic organisms for scientists researching the world's living aquatic resources, since 1971. Marine, freshwater and brackish water organisms and environments are examined, including biology and ecology of aquatic organisms, and legal, policy and socioeconomic issues. ProQuest Deep Indexing: Aquatic Sciences supplements ASFA with access to over a million indexed charts, figures, graphs, maps, photographs, and tables from the scholarly research and technical literature.
